Allcornhole.com
Allcornhole.com is one of the largest cornhole bag and board manufactures in the United States. They have been in business for over 10 years with the goal of always improving and changing the game. The original logo(s) were horizontal, and more text based, so when applied to shirts and other products the logo would sometimes appear skewed and not as straight as it could be. A new cleaner and simpler logo that was more of a badge/icon design was needed and wanted and that's where I came in.

Concept and Ideas
I started by collecting data, brainstorming design elements, and listening to the creative direction that was given. I began sketching and working through ideas as part of my process when coming up with a new design. Realizing early on with this new design that we didn't want to drastically change what was done before but rather just build upon it. We decided to focus more on the initials "AC" or the word "ALL.” I really loved the shield aspect of the original, it was recognizable and iconic, so I wanted to incorporate it as a building block of the new design.

Color and Type
After creating the main shapes of the badge, we needed a font that would work well and include the company name. I was pleased to find a very angular font that matched those elements and worked naturally with the design. Next was to officially nail down the supporting fonts. Bebas Kai was used as the main font of the original logo, so we kept that as a title and headline font and added the classic Proxima Nova as a paragraph and type font.
The colors of the original logo were red, black, and white. Those colors were working great and were an easily recognizable part of the brand, so nothing really needed to be changed. I updated the red color and added grey as a new accent color to the overall palette.

Completed Design
The main A and C of the badge are custom shapes, styled to fit within the shield shape of the original logo. Adding a hole to represent the boards and the swoosh of a bag flying completed the design. With the goal to create a new design that is simple, clean, and icon based so that the logo would look good even if it got slightly skewed on products; as well as building on and not replacing the originals. I was really excited for how this turned out.
